General
Letter. She thanks ALG for his kind note for her birthday. She would have written sooner, but the family was ill. She regrets for not writing sooner because she remembers ALG long ago saying how happy he always is when receiving letters from Budapest; they all make him cheerful. However, Ida's feelings are hurt because when they needed help going through several hardships ALG didn't lift a hand to help them -- the family he was part of for nine whole years -- . She is sorry to be blunt when saying that ALG has been indolant. Ida asks ALG to send pictures of himself and to write either in Hungarian or English. Hungarian
