Huszár Ottó to ALG, 1995 March 15
Dates
- Creation: 1995 March 15
Language of Materials
In English, Hungarian, French, German, Italian, and Latin.
General
Letter. Ottó received the letter and the articles. He will follow ALG's advice and will not send more books and articles due to expensive postage. Yet he wanted ALG to have a new book that deals with Hungarian students' relocation to Dresden from Budapest in December 1944 where they spent almost a year. Ottó too, being a politechnic student at that time, lived through the bombing of Dresden by the allies. Later he received a "displaced person" pass. This year will be the 50th anniversary of the Dresden bombing and of the "fall" of Budapest. Ottó encloses a letter sent to Fény Ottó inviting him to a commemorating ceremony. He also sends ALG an article written by a former Hungarian politechnic student recollecting his memories of the time when he was in Germany at the end of WWII. The article is written by Sebestyén Béla. Hungarian
