General
Letter. Miklós has been doing research in the Vienna Public Archives for two weeks. Should ALG remember him, he is to reply by return of post to the Vienna address provided (to Prof. Franz Deéd) without mentioning Miklós' name. He asks ALG not to talk about this correspondence to any Hungarian. There were many cases of "reliable" immigrants informing the AVO (Hungarian Secret Service) about Hungarians in the West corresponding with people living in Hungary. These people ended up in jail in Hungary. Benda Marci sends the message and asks if ALG is in need of books. Marci could send everything out from the country to him. Miklós informs ALG about the arrangements to remit payment afterwards. Now Miklós has two volumes of the series Hungarian Archives with him in Vienna. He would appreciate it if ALG would buy them since he has money worries. He inquires about ALG's opinion regarding the situation of the Hungarians who stayed in Hungary after the revolution. If ALG has any questions, he could answer them without hindrance and in great details from Vienna. Hungarian
