General

Letter. Ferenc is happy to hear about ALG's new book and his other tributes. Both Father Borbely and him are looking forward to ALG's visit in Toronto. Ferenc confidentially asks ALG to search for fellow Hungarians upon his visit to Europe, who sympathize with them and also who would be helpful in diplomacy and publicity employing their ambition, intellect, and wit. Ferenc wishes to establish a friendly circle, within the Hungarian Helicon, by selectively inviting certain people. The aim of the society is to influence Western-European public opinion about Trianon, Soviet imperialism in Eastern Europe, and Hungary's essential role in the European cultural millieu. Teleki Pál's intellectual legacy would be a gold-mine to the erudites of this movement. Ferenc also hopes that the pro-Soviet West will not be influenced by the radicalism of the bourgeoise who despise the notion of the nation state. After reflecting on the invited guests, Ferenc asks ALG to reccommend those who are to lead the society on a permanent basis. A friend of his from France will contact ALG in this regard. Hungarian
