General

Letter. Prof. Gaál thanks ALG for his letter. Although it was thirty years ago when they met at Princeton Institute of Advanced Studies, he still remembers ALG very well, especially those few times when ALG's gave him a ride in his nice Studabaker car. In the last couple of years he has been thinking often of ALG, all the more he has found out that ALG became such world-famous scholar. Prof. Gaál sends information about other well-known Hungarian mathematicians living in the U.S., such as Raul Bott, Erdös Pál, and Fáry István. Hungarian
