MATERIAL ON OTHER COUNTRIES
Scope and Contents
This series consists of major subseries: Missions, Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada, Caribbean, Europe, and Latin America. Each subseries is further divided into countries, regions or cities and within these by record type. Material is filed under the name of the country at the time the material was produced so there may be material on the same center under two different country names. Most material is in English, but the early material especially is in Dutch, German or French. The material contained is as diverse as the continents, countries and cities represented. Included are reports, correspondence, reference material, course and program material (lecture outlines, training aids, pamphlets, etc.) flyers, reprints of dramas presented, newspaper clippings, and subject files. Some areas of interest include reports written by Dutch Grail members in Holland at the time of Nazi occupation and the files dealing with the revolutions in Africa and Latin America. The file on England is also of special interest as the correspondence contains details of the English Grail's wartime activity. Although the English Grail still exists today, it is in name only. It is no longer a member of the International Grail having severed ties in the late 1940s.
The material within the series is arranged alphabetically by continent, region, country or city, then by record type and chronologically within each record type.
