Colorful and inspirational was the procession in St. Boniface Church preceding Midnight Mass. Amid only the glow of Cathedral Candles at the Altar and along the walls of the Church with the flood lights casting reflections on the Crib, the formation extended down the main aisle and around the Church led by boys from the 5th, 6th, and 7th grades. Joanne McCaw as Queen, carrying the Infant Jesus, was attended by four eighth-grade girls, Beth McKay, Peggy Laws, Sharen Roark and Carol Spitznagle, wearing gowns of pale blue taffeta and carrying bouquets of red roses which they placed within the Crib. Father Laurian Rausch, O.F.M., Celebrant, Fr. Casper Rausch, Sub-Deacon, Father Niles Kraft, Deacon, and Father James Fitzpatrick, Master of Ceremonies recited the prayers at the crib.
