The Bears in Academic Gowns. The Chicago Bears' football team participated in the dedication of two new student dormitories at St. Joseph's college, Sunday, September 7th, in honor of their owner and coach, George S. Halas, after whom one of the halls was named. Halas, whose Bears have trained at St. Joseph's for 15 years, is pictured here standing in front of his athletes. To the right of Halas is the Very Rev. Raphael H. Gross, president of St. Joseph's, and Robert A. Gallagher, president of Indiana Public Service and after whom the other dorm was named.
