Abstract

Pages 9 & 10 of a diary or book of reminiscences of a Catholic missionary working among Indians east of the Mississippi River. He speaks of beginning to speak and understand the language. His greatest fear is that the Government desires to transport the Indians to the other side of the Mississippi.
