Abstract
Thompson's "Notes upon the Stations [of the Cross]," writing as if he were to paint the stations (or sculpt them in relief). He believes they should be portrayed in such a way that all can see and understand Christ's supreme agony and sacrifice, also the anguish of the Blessed Mother.
