Scope and Contents
Correspondence, newspaper clippings, case records, essays, and speeches relating to Boland's membership on city, state and regional committees, including the Buffalo Committee on the Stabilization of Unemployment (1930-1931), the Cosmopolitan Club of Erie County, New York (1931), the Catholic Industrial Conference of America (1934), the Buffalo Labor Board, and the New York State Labor Relations Board (1939-1942). Many the clippings collected in Boland's scrapbooks relate to these committees (see SRAPBOOKS SERIES, boxes 6-17). The PERSONAL AND MISCELLANEOUS SERIES (boxes 4-5) includes programs and congratulatory letters written at the time of Boland's retirement as chairman of the New York State Labor Relatins Board. .9 ft.
