Murphy is making a trip to America to give a series of lectures on Ireland. The purpose of the lecture tour is to collect funds to pay off a 2000 pound debt on the Jesuit House at Galway. He expects to be in the United States and Canada for about a year and plans to see Hudson. Murphy sends some poetry and plans to send Hudson articles while on his trip.
