His object is to keep up the attention of Catholics upon the Roman question and to use the proceeds from the lectures to build a church on Wolfe Island for Irish Catholics. He notifies Hudson that he has sent him a copy of his "History" for review in the Ave Maria. He regrets that this had not been done sooner. He wants a copy of the Ave Maria containing the review sent to him. In the fourth edition he has revised the pages on Father Edward Sorin and the University of Notre Dame.
