They would like to see the stipend given to a priest who is engaged in missionary work. He was much surprised to learn of Edwards' misfortune. The fact that Edwards wrote so soon after the stroke shows that he will rapidly regain control of all the muscles affected. If Notre Dame will accept the certificate of his work instead of requiring an entrance examination, it will be doing what all the state universities are doing.
