Never will they forget the hospitality extended to them in their visit to Notre Dame. They have decided to put in the electric light, but the church will not be under roof until fall. Brother Francis favored them with a visit during their stay in Chicago.

She succeeded in getting a supposed mitre of Bishop Simon Brute . Her Bishop gives her permission to send it to Edwards. She hopes Father Neron Louis Neyron will be able to certify to its authenticity. Note Added in Edwards' hand. The moment he showed this mitre to Father Neyron he exclaimed Bishop Brute's first mitre, the one given him by his brother. The mitre she sent of Bishop Maurice de St. Palais was made by his sister-in-law. The pastor H. Peythieu of the old Cathedral at Vincennes always refused to give a souvenir of Bishop Simon Brute, but Sister Euphrasie knew of the Bishop's mitre case in an out of the way cupboard and one day she took it from the church.
