Eaton, Reverend (Arthur Wentworth Hamilton): Newport, R(hode) I(sland) to Monsignor (Robert Seton: Jersey City Heights, New Jersey), 1894 July 18
Eaton asks (Seton) to send him the World notice of himself. Here he is in the depths of luxury. Baron and Baroness Seilliere arrived from Paris Sunday. They have been lunching with the Prince of Wales. Eaton preached and conducted services at All Saints last Sunday. (P.S.) He is invited to Ned K. Vanderbilt's "palace" tomorrow. He will be delighted to introduce (Seton) to the Seillieres next winter before they return to Paris.
Eaton, Reverend Arthur W(entworth) H(amilton): Newport, R(hode I(sland) to Monsignor (Robert Seton: Jersey City Heights, New Jersey), 1894 August 10
He thanks (Seton) for the clipping and would like a spare copy if he has one. If (Seton) ever stayed in Newport he would hate an aristocracy of money worse than he now does. Everything is a huge vulgar glittering soap bubble. He is of course having a good time and his friends are most kind to him and he is under no restraint. He leaves for Nova Scotia in September and will be glad to leave Newport. He asks (Seton) to send him Louis (Sands)' address.

Attie O'Brien's poem was read by all her friends with interest as was Kathleen Tynan's monograph. Eccles sends two articles "A Scheme of Life" and "The Soul's Secret", copied by Mrs. Morgan John O'Connell, who is not the daughter-in-law of the Liberator as Tynan thinks.
