Scrapbook concerning American Catholicism containing many articles from Boston-area newspapers.

Five letters to Finotti (1855-1877), among them one concerning the exhumation of Bishop Frederic Baraga, one concerning the Society of California Pioneers, and one concerning the school question; and scrapbooks of political cartoons, including caricatures of Jefferson Davis, and newspaper clippings on the Civil War, popular poetry, and Catholicism.

Ephemera and photographs collected by Julia Merkel during her time as a student at University of Notre Dame, 1985 to 1988. Merkel was a founding member of the university’s Women’s Cross-Country (WCC) team.

Scrapbook prepared by Papas for presentation to the Joseph Kennedy family on the 23rd anniversary of the death of Joseph Kennedy, Jr. Papas was in the same WWII squadron as Joseph Kennedy Jr. and was also his roommate, 1943- 1944. Scrapbook includes pictures of Papas with Kennedy and correspondence with Joseph Kennedy, Sr., Rose Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, and Edward Kennedy, 1967-1969.

The primary item in this collection is a scrapbook kept by professional golfer Mike Brady (1887-1972). The scrapbook documents his professional golf career from the 1900s until the 1920s, as well as his induction into the PGA Hall of Fame in 1960. The scrapbook primarily contains newspaper and magazines clippings about his competitions, but the collection also includes some photographs, and pieces of ephemera.

Personal and professional correspondence, 1933-1976; drafts of poetry; copies of publications, 1927-1972; clippings concerning Engels and his family; teaching records; maps from his Wisconsin property and family trips; scrapbooks; and photographs.

Correspondence, legal documents, manuscripts of articles, and two scrapbooks, one with clippings of editorials he wrote and the other detailing the 1930 concert season at the Ravinia, Illinois.

Reilly's Notre Dame file, consisting of photographs of Notre Dame: buildings, personalities, and events; and letters, 1950-1957, mainly transmitting the photographs; with a few letters between Notre Dame and his son, Peter C. Reilly, Jr. Also a typewritten biographical sketch and copy of the sermon delivered by James E. Norton at the funeral of Peter C. Reilly; a photograph of Reilly; copies of Reilly's obituaries; and clippings about Reilly.

A large disbound scrapbook of sports-related clippings, mostly pictorial, from The National Police Gazette, The Illustrated Police News, and The New York Illustrated News. Much of the material consists of engraved portraits of boxers of the 1880s and 1890s.

Two-volume scrapbook containing original drawings and text for In Ruhleben Camp (1915) and The Ruhleben Camp Magazine (1916-1917) compiled possibly for postwar publication. The satirical drawings and writings deal with life of British civilians interned in a German prisoner camp in Ruhleben, Germany. Two bound volumes of the published camp magazine accompany the scrapbook.
