The postcards depict six priests executed during the Cristero Rebellion. Also included is a postcard of Anacleto González Flores, a lawyer and active member of the Asociación Católica de la Juventud Mexicana and founder of the Unión Popular, executed on 1 April 1927, on authority of Mexican president Plutarco Elías Calles (beatified 15 November 2005).
