Meary Thurairajah Tambimuttu edited "Poetry London" during the war years. A single issue was produced again in 1979, with a new section labelled Apple Magazine seeking to include other types of poetry such as song lyrics (Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen). Prior to their split in 1970, The Beatles had intended to found an "Apple Magazine" under Tambimuttu. Includes a flexi-disc recording of Ginsberg reading his poem 'Plutonium Ode.'
