Polish Resistance During World War II Periodicals Collection
Scope and Contents
The collection contains ephemera publications produced in clandestinely operating printing shops throughout Poland during the German occupation. The collection covers a wide range of groups active in the underground from nationalist to Soviet sympathizing communists. Of particular interest are titles which were printed during the Warsaw Uprising (August 1-October 2, 1944).

Users should be cautioned in advance of the brittle condition of many of the original pieces which due to wartime shortages were printed on cheap paper stock.
