Scope and Contents

This notebook is entitled "Prague and the gathering, 1912" (Praga i slet, 1912). It continues the description of Rusudana's travels in Europe during the summer of 1912. It is written in retrospect whithout dated entries and describes her trip to Prague for the meeting of the international athletic and mountain-climbing society Sokol. Rusudana's brother Georgii Nikolaevich and her younger sister Tamara Nikolaevna were members. The manuscript contains RNN's description of and reacton to the city's architecture, history, and culture. This is the second part of the first notebook in a series of six that together form a Travel Memoir entitled "Switzerland Again 1912," which is a third book in a collection of four Travel Memoirs dedicated to Switzerland (see the cover file).
