Scope and Contents
The notebook consists of two parts plus supplements. The first part is entitled "Our Crimea 1909" (Nash Krym 1909 g.). It was written in 1909 and 1929 and then edited and enlarged in 1967 in Tbilisi. Here Rusudana describes her travels in the Crimea in May and June of 1909 as a member of a student scientific expedition under the direction of Professor Konstantin Konstantinovich Fokht. The second part starts on page 1100 and is entitled "Our Crimea" part II Our post-Crimea or "novel in letters" as father called our correspondence" ("Nash Krym" chast II Nashe "poslekrymie" ili "roman v pismakh," kak prozval etu nashu perepisku otets). This part consists primarily of correspondence between Rusudana and her fellow classmates.
