Rusudana Nikolaevna Nikoladze Illustrated Journal, 1931 September
Scope and Contents
RNN numbers the leaves from 1 to 137. The notebook entitled "Moscow Again. Fall 1931"(Eshche raz Moskva. Osen 1931 g.)describes Rusudana's trip to Moscow's Kremlin Hospital for treatment in the autumn of 1931. She was accompanied by Georgette Nikoladze, the widow of Georgii Nikoladze. It appears that the journal was started in Moscow and completed on the train back to Tbilisi on September 17, 1931. The manuscript describes memories of Georgii Nikoladze who had recently passed away, Moscow and changes in its architecture, along with detailed descriptions of Moscow's Kremlin Hospital where Rusudana spent two weeks. The text is written in Russian with occasional passages in Georgian.
