RNN numbers the leaves as 126-310. The notebook is entitled "'n. 3' 1916-1917: from one year to two" (n. 3 1916-1917: Ot goda do dvukh). It continues the series of journals RNN began in November 1915 dedicated to the birth and development of her son, Nikolai (Nika) Polievktov-Nikoladze. It is the only one available in the original series of such notebooks. The series was continued by Rusudana until 1925, according to the note inserted by her in the front of the notebook entitled "Notebook IV, Summer 1914." The text is written in Russian with occasional sentences in Georgian. Dated entries range from November 7, 1916 to October 8, 1917. The entries range from 100 to 250 words. Rusudana and her son spent most of the time described in the diary in Petrograd with occasional visits to Didi Dzhikhaishi in Georgia and Zheleznovodsk in the Caucasus.
