Letter. "Dad" [Robert Creeley], Buffalo, New York, to "Dear Sarah" [Sarah Creeley], n.p., 1994 March 9
Scope and Contents
Creeley writes: "Such a relief that breast trouble was benign" and encourages his daughter to "find a medical connection appropriate." Also writes about difficulty of receiving mortage payments: "Thinking of New Mexico, the people there again have missed a mortgage payment—like car with failing battery or the ignition going out. Each time they get a 30 day grace period and come in just at the line, but it's a drag—and it can't be great for them either, if they are that pinched for $300—but really they are spec owners and ours is one of many such they are dealing. So enough of that." Also writes of Buffalo winter as "depressed and depressing."
