Scope and Contents

A Bristol County Court of General Sessions grand jury presentment signed by jury foreman Ebenezer Peck and prosecuting attorney Seth Padelford, alleging that Asher Ellis, of Rehoboth, "did play at Cards" at the tavern of Elkanah French; an addendum indicates that Ellis was found guilty.
