Scope and Contents

A partly printed document written and signed by Timothy Fales, clerk, directing the sheriff to attach the property of Thomas Turner, of Rochester (Plymouth County), to the value of £40, to compel his appearance before the Bristol County Inferior Court of Common Pleas to answer for his failure to pay plaintiff Daniel Lewis, of Newport, Rhode Island, for a hogshead of rum; with endorsement of Noah Sprague, Plymouth County deputy sheriff.
