Scope and Contents
A partly printed document written and signed by Timothy Fales, clerk, directing the sheriff to attach the property of Joseph Jenkins, of Edgertown (Dukes County), to the value of £20 to compel his appearance before the Bristol County Inferior Court of the Common Pleas to answer for his failure to return a longboat valued at £10 to Newport, Rhode Island resident Nathaniel Potter; with endorsement on the reverse by John Allen, sheriff.
