Scope and Contents

Both this document and the one preceding (MSN/COL 2717-52) relate to the case of John Tallman (Talman) v. Charles Joslyn (Joslin). This second document is a partly printed writ of attachment in clerk Timothy Fales's hand, dated 20 June 1732. It directs the sheriff to attach Joslyn's property to the value of £12, to compel his appearance before the Bristol County Inferior Court of Common Pleas to answer for his debt.
