Scope and Contents

A memorandum written and signed by Job Almy, Bristol County justice of the peace, recording a bond of recognizance entered by Mary Hix, of Dartmouth, as principal, and John Akins and Adam Hunt as sureties, in the amount of £5, on condition that Hix appear before the Court of General Sessions to appeal a 40s fine for keeping a shuffleboard in her house.
