"Army Book 153. Field Message Book" is a journal which contains miscellaneous content and details on Dr. Oakden's life and service. It's primarily filled with notes for needed medical supplies. There are illustrations on pages 93, 95, 98, 99, 107, unknown page number, 111, and 114. In the back of the book, there are several loose pieces of paper, including a newspaper clipping announcing his marriage to Enid Mostyn, a list of the length of time he served on each ship, from 1914 December 7 to 1919 March 6, a "diary" from 1917 July 16 to 1917 October 22 with additional detail of of his ship service, and a piece of paper with a "ledger" of sorts.
