This series consists of original and reproduced sketches, drawings and designs for various objects and monuments, architectural floor plans, as well as portraits and human figures. Other items done directly by Gill's hand are included, e.g. project lists done in calligraphy. Items such as proofs and designs for his typefaces, while still examples of his own design, are placed in series M (items that feature Gill or his work), unless the imprint is established (series H or K). Drawings and designs associated with his sculptural carvings are found in series C.
