Contains a black, lined notebook accompanied by a single envelope embossed with "Devonshire Arms Hotel, Dungarvan. Co. Waterford." on the front and "Dunne Bros. Proprietors." on the back. The notebook contains a list of priests within the intial pages, then a draft of an essay concerning the events between the creation of Grattan's Parliament in 1782 and the 1798 Rising follows. The envelope was originally enclosed within the notebook between ff. 77-78.
