This series consists of columns written by Red Smith from 1945 to 1982 in papers including The New York Herald Tribune, Women’s Wear Daily, and The New York Times. Also included are drafts of Smith’s books, The Red Smith Reader and To Absent Friends Materials include clippings, scrapbooks, and typescripts.
