Annotated in Larsson's hand: "The book for which these are the corrected galley-proofs never has appeared due to the illness of the publisher before its publication date, an illness that caused his withdrawal from business affairs indefinitely. These proofs of R.E.F.L. are the only ones he knows of so revised. Few, if any, other copies exist in any state."
