Scope and Contents
This subseries consists of personal letters sent and received by Tunney to friends and fans. Most of the correspondence dates from his extended honeymoon in Europe in 1929. Also included are a large number of fan mail telegrams sending good luck wishes to Tunney before his second fight with Jack Dempsey and sending congratulations after his victory.
