Lev Zinovevich Kopelev (1912-1997) was a literary critic, dissident, and human rights advocate. His wife, Raisa Davydovna Orlova (1918-1989) was a writer and American studies scholar. Folder includes Irina Roskina's transcriptions of and commentary on letters, the originals of which are in RGALI.
