His last visit was just prior to Father Thomas E. Walsh's death. He was talking to Father Walsh who died shortly after of Bright's disease. He saw Father Andrew Morrissey, C.S.C. with regard to Edwards' wish for $100 or $200 to purchase books for the library but he would not allow it.
