Scope and Content
Approximately 5100 color photographs of Notre Dame, showing football games, the Main Building, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, sculptures, chapels, wildlife, the Grotto, the Log Chapel, Moreau Seminary, Hesburgh Library, and other campus scenes; with some photographs of Saint Mary's College campus; also an original acrylic painting by Ringel of the Grotto entitled "Celebration"; two dedication pins from the stadium expansion and the Main Building renovation and a glass dedication plaque from the Eck Center.

Background
Robert Ringel worked as the staff architect with Facilities Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. He provided the photographs and artwork for Notre Dame: The Official Campus Guide (University of Notre Dame Press, 1998) and his work has appeared in many other publications.
