Scope and Content

Correspondence of the Friends of Irish Freedom and record book of Irish bond subscription, South Bend, Indiana, 1920s; reprints, broadsides, handbills, booklets, clippings, and periodicals concerning the Irish independence movement, 1916-1922; an 1846 letter from the Carrol family on the potato famine in Ireland; and a pamphlet, "Letters on the State of Education in Ireland; and on Bible Societies," by J.K.L. (Dublin: Richard Coyne, 1824).

NUCMC MS 67-911 mistakenly describes some of this material as part of the records of All Hallows College, Dublin, also in the custody of the Archives of the University of Notre Dame.
