Scope and Content
Home movies taken by John J. Brennan of activities in the parishes he served in the Diocese of Brooklyn, New York, and footage of vacation trips he took; a diary of a cross country trip he took in 1923; printed including a program from his silver jubilee and a testimonal dinner, and a short history of St. Philip Neri parish (Northport, NY). Also copy prints (inkjet prints) of photos of John J. Brennan and other priests from the parishes he served, and a CD-ROM containing digital images of the printed material, photos, and diary.

Background
Monsignor John J. Brennan (born 1886) served as a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, New York, from the time of his ordination in 1912 until his death in 1964.

Laura MacKenzie Petit. The movies were discovered in the home of J. Craig MacKenzie, a grandnephew of Monsignor Brennan.
