Pamphlets, reprints of articles, newspaper clippings, bibliographies, and unpublished papers relating to social issues such as labor unions, communism, economics, and civil rights, as well as a wide range of topics in moral theology (1935-1977); notes and syllabi for courses Cronin taught at St. Mary's Seminary (1967-ca.1974); copies of Cronin's unpublished report "The Problem of American Communism in 1945" (1945) completed for the National Catholic Welfare Conference; correspondence and newspaper clippings concerning his anticommunist activities, particularly his role in the Alger Hiss spy case (1950s-1970s); and occasional letters to and from Richard M. Nixon (ca.1969-1975).
