Scope and Contents
At the suggestion of Archbishop Purcell, Young requests a place in Odin's diocese. He is assistant pastor at St. Joseph's church. He belonged to the Order of St. Dominic. Within the last 3 years he has stumbled and given scandal. He was suspended for one year. Last September Archbishop John Baptist Purcell received him into his diocese. Young petitioned for secularization. Purcell is now in possession of the rescript of his secularization. Rome desired that Young go to some distant place. Purcell insists that Young write to Odin.
