Scope and Contents

For almost two months, Beaugier's cousin has not been well; she needs a servant to cook, wash, and iron. Beaugier wrote to Mr. Goubler, concierge at the Archbishop's house; will Rousselon see about this matter. He is to send her by the first boat, paying her passage and sending her to Messrs. Carrière and éboillon at Négreville who will put her in the care of the driver of the stage which goes through Ville Platte on the way to Alexandria. Beaugier will write soon to Rousselon, the Archbishop and Father Perché. P.S. It is impossible to find a dependable negress here. :: VI-1-n A.L.S. French 1p. folio
