The gentleman who will present this is a Frenchman; he has asked for an introduction as he knows no one in New Orleans. Sister does this with pleasure as it gives her a chance to express again her gratitude for all the favors has granted her. Knowing's interest in the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, he will be glad to hear that on September 15, 8 of their penitents were confirmed; 10 received Holy Communion. Sister asks to pray for them as he knows the weakness of the American character. Their foundation in Montreal is already very flourishing. :: V-5-b A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo.
