(Gillow y Zavalza), Archbishop Eulogio: Oaxaca, (Mexico) to Monsignor Robert Seton: (Jersey City), New Jersey, 1895 September 6
Scope and Contents
Business, pastoral visits, and sickness have delayed his writing. Today (Gillow) expresses his grateful memories of the visit he made to Seton's parish. On the way back to Mexico he read the printed matter which Seton presented him with and today he is sending Seton a package containing 1) some notes on the martyrs of Caxonas; 2) an extract published about some Japanese martyrs connected with Mexico; 3) preliminary studies for the Council of Antiquera; 4) the text approved by the Council of Antiquera. (On the back of the letter Seton has written): An old Accademia friend.
