Scope and Contents
Mullan received a letter from Father J.T. O'Farrell who has charge of their little Virginia chapel and who sends the letter for Seton. They came out of dry dock today; Mullan does not think they will get away before Christmas. - A.L.S. - 1p. Enclosure: 1887 Dec. 18 O'Farrell, Father J.T.: Petersburg Virginia to Monsignor (Robert) Seton: (Jersey City Heights, New Jersey) He thanks Seton for his donation to the chapel at City Point which O'Farrell received through Captain Mullan. They are poor here in Virginia and need the assistance of their friends.
