Moeller, Elise: New York, (New York) to Monsignor (Robert) Seton: (Jersey City Heights, New Jersey), 1887 July 19
Scope and Contents
She asks Seton to accept her apologies for the carelessly written card she sent him last winter. She recalls a lecture Seton once gave them on letter writing. Were it possible, her gold medal received in '71 would blush at the scrawls she sends to friends. She asks Seton to pray for her and beg God to bless her happy home with a child. Last Saturday she went to Madison with her husband. She found the old convent much more to her taste than the new house. (Seton adds a note that she was) one of his converts, a pupil at St. Elizabeth's Academy.
