Egan, Maurice F(rancis): New York, (New York) to Monsignor (Robert) Seton: (Jersey City Heights, New Jersey), 1887 March 30
Item
Identifier: CSET II-1-b
Scope and Contents
He thanks Seton for his kind note. He has been very miserable over that silly paragraph. He dropped the man who wrote it into another berth and he has written Bishop (Winand Michael) Wigger for the name of a man he recommended lately. Henry Walsh, whose mother met Seton somewhere in the Old World, has asked Egan to go with him to call on Seton.(P.S) He has never met William Seton but wants to send him an invitation to meet (William Dean) Howells at the Author's Club.
