He found Purcell's letter on his return home and is sorry that the matter has caused Purcell any grief. He ordered Father John Crawley, otherwise a good priest, to apologize to Purcell. Purcell knows the veneration and love Dwenger has for him. When another case occurs, please follow whatever judgment Purcell wishes and he will always find Dwenger satisfied.
